The business grew, and in 1964, the company's first yogurt-producing factory was opened. FAGE (pronounced "fa-yeh") has come a long way from its humble beginnings. It is now Greece's biggest dairy company, producing fresh milk, cheese, and yogurt for customers worldwide.

FAGE has one of the most modern milk and milk by-products production facilities in Europe. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, FAGE has a production capacity of 500 million pots of yogurt yearly, as well as a refrigerated warehouse with a capacity of 4,000 pallets automated by robotics. The company is renowned for the unique straining process that gives FAGE TOTAL Yogurt its characteristic taste and texture.
